C TV Station "producer System" Organization Management Optimization Research

The Producer System has undergone 8 years from brewing to establish in China's TV program production agencies. The title "producer"was first used in 1985 in TV program production. From then on, the use of Producer System was gradually expanded to News programs, Special Report, Life Service and so on. By now, Producer System was implemented in most Chinese TV stations at different development stages.The implement of Producer System was a substantive leap and a great exploration in radio and TV industry for its massive stimulation in program production.22 yeas has past since Producer System first been introduced by CCTV in program Eastern Times. By now,Producer System has become a main model of TV program production in radio and TV industry,especially in station C,which the thesis mainly studies. Meanwhile, a large number of TV program producers with excellent professional skill and strong comprehensive quality were cultivated.The thesis Conducted in-depth research and analysis on issues of how to introduce Producer System timely and appropriately, and how to optimize organization management in face of the advantages and disadvantages of this system. To further investigate this issue, the author adopted various methods like questionnaire, on-spot investigation, face-to-face interview,so as to provide a more objective understanding and to deepen the depth and breadth of the thesis.The thesis firstly elaborated the concept of TV Producer System and its three development stages; Secondly, according to data selected from questionnaire and face-to-face interview, the author analyzed the development status and existing problems of TV Producer System in station C, including rights and duties,entry and exit mechanism, inspection and supervision mechanism. Thirdly, combined with the above analysis and literature at home and abroad, the author put forward an optimization plan of TV Producer System focusing on the mechanisms above.In this thesis the author did an empirical investigation on TV Producer System of state C,basing on relevant theories of management, statistics and ecology.The corresponding countermeasure,put forwarded by the author, may accelerate the transformation from an blind, roughly, unscientific system to a standard, systematic, scientific system, and may provide a reference for future development of station C.
