Narrative Research On The Original Content Of News App

With the continuous development of new media technology, news APP is becoming the important carrier for news release and transmission. The user group has continuously increased; meanwhile news app included a wide range of items, from traditional media, mews portals, content aggregation to professional information. The Paper APP is a very different type of traditional media APP because the content of The Paper consists of original content and aggregative information as well as specialized in political coverage. The form of expression and the display of The Paper APP is flexible, which is comprised of text, pictures, video and hypertext. Audience as a narrator, the second mass transmission of news text can be achieved. With the function of comment and repost, the news report can be spread rapidly. Consequently, the thesis, analyzing the original content of news APP from the theoretical view of the news narratology, is illustrated by the case of “The Paper APP”.The thesis aims at exploring the fundamental pattern and summarizing the narrative feature of original content of news APP, through analyzing the narrative elements and basic structure of the narrative text from three aspects, such as narrative subject, narrative discourse and narrative strategy. The paper briefly stated the origin and characteristics of news APP in the first place. And the reason of selecting the original content of news APP as the object of the analysis and choosing the research method of narratoloy are briefly described in the preface. In the first chapter, its mainly focus on the domestic and international research results of original content of news app, included the object of study, the core issue of paper, research method and significance.The second chapter, according to the subject of original content of news APP,the narrative character described from three aspects, such as the narrative subject, the narrative perspective and focalization of The Paper APP. In the third chapter, topics of narrative discourse of original content of news app should be investigated, including the narrative structure, timeline and narrative symbol. It is noticeable that discourse forms are important narrative skills of newsworthy coverage with the advantages of new media.The final chapter of the thesis mainly discusses the narrative strategy of original content of news APP and analyses the narrativization of story and discourse, which restore audience's process of reconstructive narration to summarize the narrative strategy of perspective framing, space-time conversion, story-telling narration and hard-news infotainment.
