High school education is a systematic project composed of school education, social education, family education and many other aspects.Erickson believes that a healthy developing individual should pass through eight stages of psychosocial development. The junior high school sophomores are exactly going through the fifth stage which is identity vs role confusion and are most likely impacted by their peers and small groups.Since the implementation of formal education,we have always emphasized the roles of teachers, parents, society and media, which reflects the guidance of adults to students. However,we have to recognize that peers are equally important in this information age whose influence can not be overlooked, especially to those high school students in adolescence.Peer education refers to an educational form that individuals who have similar ages, backgrounds and experiences share their knowledge and skills.Peer education encourages students to participate in group games, scenario discussing, role playing and case studies, which could give students opportunities to express themselves and show their abilities.Based on domestic and foreign literatures, this paper analyzed related concepts of peer education and applied it to both experimental class and control class and demonstrated the effects and feasibility of peer education on China's physics education via questionnaires and interviews. The most important contributions of this study are:First,it combines peer education and physics education, designs a specific operation protocol and conducts practical researches, which provides guidance to future researches and teaching activities;Second, based on the setting of experimental classand control class,it analyzes the advantages and precautions of peer education on physics teaching activities via questionnaires. There are five chapters and the third and fourth chapters are most important. The third chapter is designed to combine peer education and physics lessons, which is applied to formal courses and chooses one of the instructional designs to show the concrete operations and results of the practical teaching. The fourth chapter focus on the completion of both the experimental class and control class is analyzed from the test questions and the opinions of students to peer education are analyzed through questionnaires, which helps analyze the advantages and precautions of peer education. Finally,in the fifth chapter,a summary and prospects are made and two conclusions are drawn:First, peer education is superior to traditional teaching method in improving students' participation and cultivating peers' cooperation;Second,in the implementation of peer education, educators play a huge role whose attitudes and educational methods directly affect the effects of peer education.
