The teaching of Chinese language undertakes a great mission to inherit Chinese traditional culture, to cultivate students’ noble virtues and the Chinese merits. This thesis establishes on the basis of current teaching situation of classical poetry reading taught in primary Chinese class. This thesis summarizes the theory and practice in the teaching of reading through consulting teaching theoretical research on classical poetry reading taught in primary Chinese class,gathering introduction of relevant theories concerning classical textbook and reading teaching, and observing the successful teaching cases. By collecting most influential academic theses in the field of current Chinese education, making integration and comparison, I combined them with my own teaching practice and thinking to explore operating strategy of classical reading in teaching level. This thesis is composed of following parts:The first part is introduction, which focuses on introduction and analysis of the research status and research value of classical poetry reading in primary school. Classical poetry is inherited so far due to the millennium cultural civilization, plays an important role in inheriting Chinese traditional culture, promoting human civilization, and becomes significant carrier to continuously push forward the development of the social culture. Therefore, the study classical poetry teaching of primary school has certain positive role. The second part is the definition of classical poetry reading, which clear definition and find the direction of the research; meanwhile, this thesis analyzes current situation of the classical poetry teaching, makes object investigation on classical poetry teaching with questionnaire, reflects various problems in classical poetry from the perspective of teachers and students which further points out direction of research. The third part focuses on the basic characteristics of the primary Chinese teaching. The classical reading teaching has such basic characteristics as experience, purification and construction. The experience mainly entails three aspects: sensory experience, formal experience and spiritual experience; Purification refers to cultivating students’ merits under the infiltration of classical poetry to purify the soul to highest level;The construction mainly elaborates from two levels in three aspects: one is the construction of knowledge and competence, the other is the construction of the spiritual level. The construction of knowledge and competence is based on the characteristics of the tools of Chinese learning, while the construction of spiritual level is based on the human level, which has obvious influence and significance. The fourth part is teaching strategies of classical poetry reading, which mainly explains from the aspect of situational method, graceful pronunciation, game method and dialogue method. Situational method mainly based on life situation narrows distance between classical poetry and students’ life, causes students to think through the problems, stimulates students’ learning interest with the story and produces positive effect on students’ spirit with cultural influence. The method mostly elaborates from three aspects: phonological beauty, poetic beauty and spiritual beauty. Game method is an extension from the class to the outside and supplemented by optional courses. In the classical poetry reading teaching, situational creation could help students embody poetry itself and feel profound cultural charm of poems. Therefore, graceful reading is key point in reading classical poetry. Reading could internalize texts and express the beauty with language. In addition, with the game method, students’ interests have been improved and dialogue could understand in a profound way. All those mentioned will help class manifest its true brilliance.
