Career decision making difficulties,which means it is difficult to make a decision about the vocation one wishes to pursue,influences graduates' mental health and career development a lot.Perfectionism,as a special personality trait was evidenced plays an important role that affect the career decision-making difficulty.With the application of implicit associative tests and their evolution in the field of personality research,researchers have begun to focus on the influence of perfectionism on career decision-making difficulties should include two aspects: explicit and implicit.Data were collected by means of there questionnaires the Emotional and Personality Aspects of Career Decision-making Difficulties Scale(EPCD),Chinese version of Frost's Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale(FMPS)and by means of Single Category Implicit Association(SC-IAT)from 90 graduate and postgraduate.In study 1,the present article explored the relationship between implicit perfectionism and explicit perfectionism through implicit experiments and measurement methods.In study 2,we investigated how explicit perfectionism,implicit perfectionism affect the Career decision making difficulties in a divided way.Results showed that,implicit perfectionism has significant effect and the relationship between implicit perfectionism and explicit perfectionism is insignificant.There is positive correlation relationship between implicit perfectionism and career decision-making difficulties,and the predictive effect of implicit perfectionism on career decision--making difficulties was significant.In addition,explicit perfectionism was positively correlated to career decision-making difficulties.Specifically,organization dimension has negative predicative effect to career decision-making difficulties,while parental expectation dimension has positive predicative effect to career decision-making difficulties.Besides,the interaction between parental expectation dimension and implicit perfectionism on explicit perfectionism is significant.In conclusion,implicit and explicit perfectionisms were independent structures.Implicit perfectionism and explicit perfectionism are both closely related to career decision-making difficulties.Besides,Parents' high expectations make children face more pressure when choosing jobs.
