Objectives: This study attempts to investigate the status of college student' career decision-making difficult and explore the relationship between Big Five Personality and career decision-making difficulties. The present study attempts to through the social support and self-concept two intermediary variable analysis of relations between Big Five Personality and career decision-making difficulties. In order to explain how the Big Five Personality affect Career decision-making difficult. Methods: The convenient sampling of extraction of 851 college students in Zhengzhou University were assessed. The Career Decision making Difficulties Questionnaire( CDDQ), Chinese Big Five Personality Inventory brief version(CBF-PI-B),Tennessee Self-concept Scale(for college), Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) were employed to collect data. Using correlation analysis, t test, analysis of variance and Bootstroop statistical methods to process the data. Results:(1) The career decision-making difficulties of college students has significant differences on the demographic variables such as gender, grade ect(p < 0.05).(2) Neuroticism can positively predict career decision-making difficulties significantly(R~2 = 22.7%, p < 0.01), responsibility(R~2 = 11.5%, p < 0.01), agreeableness(R~2 = 5.1%, p < 0.01), open(R~2 = 26.2%, p < 0.01), and extroversion(R~2 = 27%, p < 0.01) can negative predict career decision-making difficulties significantly.(3) Partial mediating effect of Social support, self-concept between neurotic personality and career decision-making difficulties is significant.(4) Partial mediating effect of Social support, self-concept between responsible personality and career decision-making difficulties is significant.(5) Partial mediating effect of Social support, self-concept between extroversion personality and career decision-making difficulties is significant.(6) Partial mediating effect of Social support, self-concept between open personality and career decision-making difficulties is significant.(7) Complete mediating effect of Social support, self-concept between agreeableness personality and career decision-making difficulties is significant. Conclusion: Neuroticism positively predict difficult career decision-making, responsibility, extraversion, openness and agreeableness negatively predict career decision-making difficulties. Social support and self-concept play a multiple intermediary role between Big Five Personality and career decision-making difficult. Therefore, when schools and families provide employment consultation for college students, one should pay attention to develop their positive and healthy self-concept and increase their social support.
