During the whole process of Chinese language teaching,the primary stage of Chinese teaching is of great importance to language learning.In all the courses of Chinese language teaching,the comprehensive Chinese courses are the key courses which cover the all-round skill training including Chinese listening,speaking,reading,and writing,which determined the core position of elementary comprehensive Chinese course.Therefore,the quality of the comprehensive Chinese course teaching at the primary stage has a direct influence on the process of Chinese learning.In order to improve teaching quality,in addition to take the complete teaching theory as a scientific guidance,a reasonable and effective teaching design is also needed to be put into practice.This paper takes the lesson titled Beijing Is Getting Hotter as an example and makes an in-depth study on the class practice of Chinese language teaching.The study discusses that in a combined class,different teaching methods were designed according to different teaching objects,and a teaching design was made based on the combination of the research findings of previous scholars and actual classroom conditions.Hopefully this paper can provide a useful reference to the comprehensive Chinese teaching at the primary stage and especially to the Chinese teaching in a combined class.This paper firstly introduces and sums up the background,the meaning and the literature review of the selected title,and discusses the innovations and the defects of the study.And then it elaborates on Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and the Comprehensive Chinese teaching at the primary stage,while at the same time summaries the teaching methods-related studies of the elementary comprehensive Chinese course.Next,a detailed analysis of the teaching-related elements of the lesson titled Beijing is Getting Hotter was made according to the above theories,which includes teaching environment,teaching object,teaching objectives,teaching materials and teaching contents.The essentials of this teaching design was elaboratedfrom the overall aspects.The main part of this paper lies in the part of teaching design,which introduces the specific teaching steps and teaching instructions and analyzes every teaching methods used for every teaching contents.In the last part,this paper summaries this teaching design from the perspectives of teaching method,teaching in a combined class and teaching time arrangement.The innovation of this paper is that the teaching objects in a combined class are divided into different groups according to the different students’ learning level of Chinese-character cultural circle and non-Chinese character cultural circle or according to different learning strategies.After grouping,different teaching methods are adopted for different teaching objects.This teaching design adopts elicitation teaching methods,which is centered on the students who are guided by the teachers.The limitation of this paper is that the teaching objects of this study is not comprehensive,the application range of which need to be expanded and further tested.
