Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of blood stasis type knee osteoarthritis treated by the Tiebaojin papua cream.Exploring the contents of IL-1?TNF-a?MMP-3 in human knee joint fluid impacted by the Tiebaojin papua cream.Methods: 60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each group had 30 cases.The treatment group were treated by the Tiebaojin papua cream,while the control group were treated by the the refined dogskin plaster.One times per day and three weeks for a course of treatment.The knee joint fluid was extracted before and after the treatment.Comparing the changes of symptom score,sign score and the contents of IL-1?TNF-a?MMP-3 in knee joint fluid.taking the test results to statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.Results: 1.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67%,while the control group was 63.33%,the difference had statistical significance(P < 0.05).2.Before the treatment,the pain score,stiff score and motor function score of treatment group had not difference compared with control group(P > 0.05).After the treatment,the pain score,stiff score and motor function score of the two groups had a significant decrease compared with the score of prior treatment(P < 0.05).After the treatment,the pain score,stiff score and motor function score of treatment group had significant difference compared with control group(P < 0.05).3.Before the treatment,the contents of IL-1?TNF-a?MMP-3 in knee joint fluid of treatment group had not difference compared with control group(P > 0.05).After the treatment,the contents of IL-1?TNF-a?MMP-3 in knee joint fluid of the two groups had a significant decrease compared with the score of prior treatment(P < 0.05).After the treatment,the contents of IL-1?TNF-a?MMP-3 in knee joint fluid of treatment group had statistical significance compared with control group(P < 0.05).4.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 80% after three months of the research,it had not statistical significance when comparing with the total effective rate at the end of the course.Conclusion: 1.The total effective rate of blood stasis type knee osteoarthritis treated by the Tiebaojin papua cream was 86.67%,the Curative effect is distinct.2.The Tiebaojin papua cream can reduce the patients' score of WOMAC-VA,improve the patients' pain and motor function.3.The Tiebaojin papua cream can reduce the patients' contents of IL-1?TNF-a?MMP-3 in knee joint fluid.4.The long-term curative effect of Tiebaojin papua cream is distinct and it is worthy of clinical application...
