Systematic Evaluation Of Acupuncture For The Treatment Of Third Lumbar Vertebrae Transverse Process Syndrome

Objective:Using system evaluation to evaluate the effective and safety of Needle-knife therapy for the Third Lumber Vertebrae Transverse Process Syndrome.Method:According to the inclusion and exclusion standard, formulating corresponding retrieval strategy. Then Using computer retrieval domestic database: CBM, CNKI, VIP, database, Wan-fang Data, The Cochrane Library, PubMed, OVID database. The retrieval time were searched to 1990 to 2015. Screening out the Randomized controlled study which confirm to the inclusion and exclusion standard.According to the basic characteristics of the study to developing data extraction table.Data collection was complished from the methodological quality assessment.All outcome indicators were for quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.Result:(1)In the inclusion of 11 researches, all the treatment were treated by Needle-knife therapy. The ways of control groups were different while 5 researches were treated by closed treatment,3 researches were treated by acupuncture,2 researches were treated by electro acupuncture,1 research were treated by point injection. There were 881 patients who accord with diagnosis criteria of the Third Lumber Vertebrae Transverse Process Syndrome. After statistics all the groups' methodological quality assessment were low. (2)The meta analysis results are as follows:the Clinical efficient of Needle-knife therapy VS acupuncture [RR=1.05,95%CI(0.99,1.11)], Clinical-cure-rate [RR=1.77,95%CI(1.37,2.29)], VAS [WMD=-0.90,95%CI(-1.21,-0.59)], ODI[WMD=3.20,95%CI(1.71,4.69)].The Clinical efficient of Needle-knife therapy VS block therapy [RR=1.04,95%CI(0.97,1.12)], Clinical-cure-rate[RR=1.71,95%CI(1.30,2.24)],VAS[WMD=-0.35,95%CI(-1.16,0.45)] ,ODI [WMD=-0.39,95%CI(-6.14,5.36)]. The Clinical efficient of Needle-knife therapy VS Electric acupuncture[RR=1.03,95%CI(0.98,1.08)],Clinical-cure-rate [RR=1.72,95%CI(0.94,3.16)], VAS [WMD=-1.76,95%CI(-2.30,-1.22)].The Clinical efficient of Needle-knife therapy VS point injection [RR=1.11,95%CI(0.97,1.27)], Clinical-cure-rate[RR=2.70,95%CI(1.61,4.54)]. (3) Sensitivity analysis results are stable.Conclusion:From the results of studies,we can understand that the results of Needle-knife therapy for the Third Lumber Vertebrae Transverse Process Syndrome in Clinical efficient?Clinical-cure-rate?VAS?ODI score have certain advantages,but the level of evidences were low,they need to be treated with caution.
