Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Third Lumbar Vertebral Transverse Process Syndrome With Yijinjing Exercise And Tuina Based On MyotonPRO Muscle Function Assessment System

Objective: Using the principle of randomized controlled trial,to observe the clinical effects of Yijinjing combined with Tuina in the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome,in order to provide a more effective comprehensive treatment scheme.Methods: 96 patients who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria with the third lumbar transverse process syndrome were random divided into the Tuina group(32 cases),Mc Kenzie unite Tuina group(32 cases)and Yijinjing unite Tuina group(32 cases).Tuina group: Taking rolling method,kneading method,pointing method,plapping method,ramp method,rubbing method to work on shenshu,dachangshu,ashi point as well as other body points and the third lumbar transverse process.Mc Kenzie therapy unite Tuina group:practice Mc Kenzie back exercise.Yijinjing exercise unite Tuina group: select7 actions to practice,Wei-tuo’s contribution to the body,the palm-to-the-sky door potential,pull the nine-oxtails backwards,push palm forward and back,the nine-ghost-pulling and the horse-cutting potential,three upward and landing,off-the-tail and shaking-head.The treatment process of Tuina in the three groups was the same as that in the group 1.Three groups were treated once every other day,three times a week,Yijinjing exercise and Mc Kenzie therapy practice once a day,2 weeks as a course of treatment.To observe the clinical efficacy of the three groups after the treatment,compare the changes of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS),Oswestry Disability Index(ODI),Fear-Avoidance Belief Questionaire(FABQ)and measure the muscle Frequency(F),Stiffness(S)and Decrement(D)of the transverse process of the third lumbar spine.Results: 1.Overall efficacy: the total effective rates were 86.67%,93.33% and 96.67%,and the two indicates were both significantly different(P<0.05).2.VAS score: the difference before and after the treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05);the difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.ODI score: the differences between the three groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05).4.FABQ score: the differences of FABQ score between the three groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(P< 0.05);the difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.evaluation of Myoton Pro assessment for muscle frequency、stiffness and decrement: the differences before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05);the difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Safety evaluation: Three groups of treatment did not appear aggravation,infection,skin injury and other unexpected conditions,so they were suitable for clinical application.Conclusion: The clinical curative effects of Yijinjing unite Tuina in the treatment of the disease is better than that of Tuina therapy and Mc Kenzie unite Tuina,it is worthy of clinical application.
