The Clinical Research Of Acupotomology And Treatment Of Blockage In Treatment Of The Third Lumber Vertebrae Transverse Process Syndrome

Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of acupotomology and treatment of blockage in treatment of the third lumber vertebrae transverse process syndrome.Method: The study is based on the diagnosis criterion which was instituted by the National Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) administration. We have selected suitable cases from the outpatient department of acupuncture and osteology in THE First Affiliated Hospital of HeiLongJiang TCM University and the Osteologic Outpatient department of DaQing TCM Osteologic Hospital since June, 2006 to December, 2007. There are 20 cases in acupotomology's group, 20 cases in blockade group, 20 cases in acupotomology and treatment of blockage. We quantified the third lumber vertebrae transverse process syndrome clinical symptoms and signs including aching, pressing-aching, function limited, and regarded these as index of curative effect evaluating. After that we analyze the data with statistical methods.Results: (1)The therapeutic effects both satisfy, after one period of treatment, the curative effect of acupotomology and treatment of blockage group is better than the blockade group's and acupotomology group's significantly (P<0.05). (2)The therapeutic effects both satisfy, after one period of treatment, the curative effect of acupotomology group is better than the blockade group's significantly (P<0.05) .Conclusion: The therapeutic efficacy of acupotomology and treatment of blockage used in the third lumber vertebrae transverse process syndrome has lots of advantage. (1) Hurt lightly, operate simply, and fix credibility. (2)Can be used as the standard treatment, also can be used for the diseases that have the same etiology and pathogenesis.
