Each nation uses its own cultural order to maintain the orderly operation of the society, such as the Miao and Dong people who live in Qingshuijiang River Basins. The application of contract is a kind of cultural order. The Qingshuijiang contracts are written contract about land ownership transaction, tenancy, dispute mediation, and ecological maintenance, which recorded the development of local forestry economy in hundreds of years since the Ming and Qin Dynasties. The Qingshuijiang contracts are important historical facts for those who study the culture of Qingshuijiang River Basins. These contracts can in certain level objectively reflect the formation and development of productive forces and the productive relationship of forestry production since the Qin Dynasty, touching upon all aspects of forestry production, and also provide the study of social science, law, and management science with full and accurate data, and therefore have academic value. While the discovery of the Qingshuijiang contracts caused an upsurge of research in the academic circles, most scholars focus on the structure and characteristics of the contracts and the development of local forestry reflected by the contracts, carrying out research from cultural construction and customary law, but few researcher carried out researches from the Cultural Functionalism point of view, or try to comparatively study the names in the contract and specific location. To solve the problem, this article studies the preserved contract text from the Wendou village in the Qingshuijiang River Basin, and carries out an in-depth field investigation of specific places mention in the contract. Through the use of the theory and research method of Cultural Functionalism, this article chains up the single contracts, and recover a community network with spatial stability and historical continuation. Then starting with from how to maintain forest boundaries, this article reveals the social functions and value of forestry contract, and then looks into the cultural facts of the development of artificial a forestation in the Qingshuijiang River Basin. In short, the contract document is a kind of system of forestry management assurance, whose core function is to maintain the operation of local forestry. To stabilize the interest of forestry farmers in the artificial a forestation, the core issue of the contract is the positioning of the forestation. The rules in the Qingshuijiang contracts had been completely rooted in local customary law, so these rules can be reflected in the instrument. As long as the attention should be paid to the specific expression of the forestation positioning, we can discover the specific connotation of the local traditional customary law. This article is based on the contract documents collected from Wendou village, and the compilation of regulation about positioning in contracts reveals that the basic principles of customary law had reflections and evidence in the positioning of a forestation. This proved that the customary law quells the dispute and maintains the stability of the right to the use, ensuring the sustainable operation by giving the right of use, so that the operation of forestry will be sustainable. At the same time, in terms of China's current forestry development, the positioning of the forestation clarifies the right to use, and provides a low cost management methods for China's forest management. As the saying goes: Learn from history, we can see the future, through the study on positioning of the afford station, we can learn the forestry from the cultural perspective. By being in compliance of the four basic requirements of forestry management, we can found that to maintain the forest ecosystem, we must depend on the effective system construction to maintain the balance relationship between person and person and ecological forest resources utilization, and though the combination of traditional management experience and modern science, we can depend on the binding of culture to promote forestry development in order. That is the reference value of the article to the ecological construction of our country. The stability of forestry property rights coordinates the forest system, and protects the forest resource, maintaining the sustainable development of forestation in the area, and ensures that while the forest resources are in the efficient utilization, the ecological balance is maintained, so that the social harmony and progress got improved...
