Nowadays the process of economic globalization has been continuously deepened. Foreign companies in China's market not only brings opportunities to domestic enterprises, but make the market competition more intense. To enhance overall competitiveness, domestic enterprises need to refine management model and reduce operating costs. For enterprises, supply chain management plays a vital role in winning market competition. And the optimization of the procurement process is an important way to control costs.Procurement of materials, a kind of procurement activities based on e-commerce, is also known as e-commerce procurement. Due to its advantages in cost reduction, high efficiency, real-time information access, etc. e-commerce procurement are accepted by more and more enterprises.The research object of this paper is JZ Corporation. According to corporation's development and organizational structure, this paper analyze the problems in its current procurement management and fully discuss the advantages and necessity of applying ecommerce procurement platform. From the view of technical implementation, this paper designs e-commerce procurement platform for JZ, including functional design, network architecture design, technical architecture design and module flow design and provides detail steps and measures of the reengineering solutions of procurement processes and organizational structure. Its social and economic performance are also assessed.The results of this paper can effectively are effective in reducing JZ's procurement costs and improving its overall competitiveness. In addition, the results also presents important significance and practical value to the whole petrochemical industry. JZ's case can be used as a reference of other companies.
