At present,the rapid development of computer technology has brought new changes to all aspects of life,and a digital revolution is being staged all over the world.In this regard,hospital digitalization has brought convenience and benefits to everyone,and has greatly improved the level of medical diagnosis and service quality.Its digitalization directly affects the competitiveness of hospitals.In the process of diagnosis,more and more medical imaging devices are being used,every day,a large amount of medical image data will be generated.The traditional way of storage,transmission and processing is far from enough.The medical image archiving and communication system(PACS)is generated under this background,it adopts the DICOM communication protocol,this protocol solves the problem of incompatibility between different manufacturers.Now it has been adopt as an international protocol by various manufacturers.The core module of PACS system is medical image analysis and processing system,it must also follow the DICOM protocol,but current function of this module in the current domestic products are single,directly affects the efficiency and accuracy of medical diagnosis,so the in-depth research of the DICOM protocol,at the same time,it is very meaningful to use some current image processing techniques to develop a pratical and functional medical image analysis and processing system.This paper is mainly based on the QT development framework to implement DICOM image parsing and processing system,because QT has good portability and cross platform,so this system can run on variety of diffent platforms.This System is divided into three parts: the analysis and coding of DICOM files,the realization of the image processing tools,the extraction of image features and the image retrieval.DICOM file parsing and encoding is required to extract the information of image data and relevant patient from the DICOM file,and display it for subsequent processing.The encoding operation is to construct the processed image into image file of DICOM format or BMP format,which can facilitate the transmission of images in the PACS system,and also browse the image on any computer easily.The function of image processing is divided into observation operation,measurement operation and color operation.Through these operations,the doctoc can find the focus more quickly and accurately.Image feature extraction is divided into gray feature extraction,texture feature extraction and shape feature extraction.By analyzing these features,doctors can observe images from different aspects.At the same time,an image feature database is set up for image retrieval.Doctors can retrieve all images similar to the current image in the database,it can be a good reference to the diagnosis of the case,help the doctor to more quickly determine the cause of the disease.At present,the DICOM image analysis and processing system has been tested by multiple DICOM files.The system is stable,easy to operate,rich in function and can repond to related operations in time,it can greatly help doctor to diagnose medical images.
