Battlefield environment simulation technology is a combination of the virtual reality and computer simulation,through which people can describe the reasonable,comprehensive and realistic battlefield environment and then imitate military exercises and strategies deduction.In consideration of the fact that most of the existing battlefield environment simulation system has rather complicated scenario process,cumbersome operational procedures,and heavy burden of encoding demand,it’s necessary for this paper to introduce the concept of ergonomics.The ergonomics is an integrated science which focuses on the study of the interaction relationship among human,machine and environment.It’s safe to say that the core and the nature of ergonomics is the interaction between human and computers.This paper is dedicated to realize the interaction design of the battlefield environment simulation under the guidance of ergonomics.In the first place,this paper studies the related man-machine engineering factors paying specific attention to human information sensing such as vision,hearing and cognitive characteristics.On this basis,this paper concludes the ergonomic designing principles and theory which should be followed and complied during the process of battlefield environment interactive simulation.Then,this paper provides an improved ergonomic evaluation model,which satisfies battlefield environment simulation designing demand and requirement,after studying and optimizing the existing Fitts law and GOMS model.Using this improved evaluation model,we can obtain a very good and comprehensive evaluation of the whole interactive simulation process.On the next step,this paper introduces the adaptive cursor technology based on the bubbles form,demonstrates its fundamental designing principles and related theory,and most importantly,leverages the evaluation model to prove this technology can obviously enhance the ergonomic interface efficiency.Finally on the basis of above work,this paper designs and develops a distributed simulation platform for large-scale virtual battlefield environment,which focuses on designing and realizing the subsystem of human-computer interaction.Again,it can be easily proved using the evaluation model mentioned before that this whole system can well reflect the idea of ergonomics.In addition,the introduction of the adaptive cursor technology based on the bubbles form can also improve the user experience effectively.
