Research On Project Time Management Of A Insurance Company

With the rapid development of the world economy in recent years,competition among enterprises,especially among multinational enterprises,is becoming more and more fierce.Modern enterprise competition strategy has changed from traditional material competition to the information competition.Whether an enterprise can compete in an invincible position depends largely on the maturity of its information system.The enterprise information system construction process is completed by a serious of projects in phases.Therefore,project management,especially project time management,has bec ome a key factor in the success or failure of enterprise competition.In this paper,A insurance company is selected as a case to discuss the implementation and optimization of project schedule management.A insurance company is a well-known large insurance group at home and abroad and it has certain representativeness in insurance industry.The problems existing in the project time management can represent the common problems of other enterprises in the same industry.The status of project time management in A insurance company is: 1,Serious delays in project implementation of information systems;2,The cost of implementing the information system is much higher than the budget.Through analysis,this paper finds out that A insurance company exists in project schedule management: project schedule is seriously delayed;project resource allocation is not reasonable;The project cycle is too long.The main reason is the imprecise estimate of resource duration;team members don't pay enough attention to project schedule management;project schedule deviation has not been controlled.According to the A insurance company exists in time management problems,this paper systematically discussed the progress of the project management in the improvement and optimization scheme,using the network planning technique,the progress of modern management methods of critical path method and other projects,improve the estimating methods,optimization of the project network diagram,improved project implementation plan,optimi ze the schedule control system etc.
