With the improvement of living standard,people's requirements for residential safety are higher than before.As an important part of security system,entrance guard system is becoming more and more popular.Traditional methods such as metal keys,password keyboards,and IC cards have disadvantages which include inconvenience,easy loss,and easy stealing.Biometric technique has high accuracy and good stability,which is an ideal method for identification.Common biometric methods are human face,fingerprint,iris,palmprint,etc.Among them,facial features and fingerprint features are most widely used.Face recognition is quick and easy,but due to the fact that the face data is not updated for long time,the face may be not recognizable.Fingerprint feature will not change,and it can ensure the accuracy of recognition.Fingerprints can be used as an alternative solution to ensure that all legitimate users can successfully pass the entrance guard system.This paper conducts the following research:(1)Face Recognition1)Using Haar features and Adaboost concatenation to locate the face;2)Using double-circle neighborhoods to obtain LBP features of the human face;3)Using K-Nearest Neighbors for feature matching;4)Using the invariant features to make secondary judgment on the recognition results.(2)Fingerprinting1)Pre-processing of fingerprints,including Gabor filtering,fingerprint positioning,fingerprint binarization and refinement;2)Extracting feature points of fingerprints and eliminating false feature points;3)Entrance guard system matches the feature points according to the coordinate transformation or relative position relations to identify the personnel status.(3)Electronic Control SystemIn addition to identification,a complete entrance guard system needs to build an external electronic control system to carry out the door opening function.The electronic control system includes a power supply system,a fill light that can automatically adjusts the brightness according to the external light intensity,and a door lock motor control the circuit.The computer sends the recognition result to the stm32 controller through the USB,and the controller drives the circuit according to the information received.The entrance guard system comprehensively uses face recognition,fingerprint recognition and electromechanical control technology.Through field experiments,both face recognition and fingerprint recognition have high success ratio,and the electronic control system runs normally,which can meet the basic requirements of the entrance guard system.
