Automatic fingerprint identification technology is convenient, efficient, safe and reliable, and has a broad application prospect in intelligent entrance guard, financial safety and data encryption, etc. Probing into all aspects of fingerprint identification technology, this paper, according to the management requirement of library entrance guard and combined with the current embedded technology, develops a set of integrated access, attendance, patrolling, and an intelligent monitoring network access control system. It is based on S3C2440.This work is mainly embodied in the following respectsA kind of fingerprint image preprocessing solution applicable to embedded platform is put forward in the fingerprint image preprocessing step. It reduces the amount of calculation of following image processing through fingerprint image location; it improves The direction of fingerprint image algorithm; and it will do fingerprint image enhancement and binary according to the direction of fingerprint image.In the facet of fingerprint feature extraction and matching, a sort of effective and available concept is elicited. With the help of the fingerprint matching algorithm involved topological structure, and introducing ridge information to the comparative process to solve nonlinear deformation, fingerprint recognition will be improved.In the design of network intelligent entrance guard system, a cost-saving and easy-to- install proposal will be presented. The system is installed with main cable network, and each intelligent entrance guard terminal wireless network. The installation of intelligent entrancement guard should only be practiced in each lock.In a word, through the relevant improvement of the three aspects mentioned above, the ability of fingerprint identification will be enhanced, the cost of intelligent entrance guard system will be reduced and therefore an application of intelligent entrance guard will be possible. However, more work should be carried out , including, the exactness and efficiency of fingerprint identification and the capability to judge whether there is life belongs.
