Investigation Of Social Network Services In University Libraries

Today,information is showing explosive growth.Although people have gained more channels for information,many people are feeling at a loss as to the good and bad information on the Internet.Under such circumstances,people are eager to improve this situation so that they can not only obtain information easily and quickly,but also ensure the accuracy of information.As a typical tool for Web 2.0,social networking has emerged.The original role of social networks is to provide users with a communication platform.When more and more users communicate on the platform,users can obtain the information they need.With the continuous development and prosperity of social networks and the continuous increase in the number of users,the library community has experienced challenges and opportunities.How to use social networks to access library services has become a question for the library community.In order to better understand the relationship between libraries and social networks,the author,through sorting out relevant literature,found that there is not much research on the use of social networks to conduct services in China.The author selected the university library as a specific research object,and combed the literature materials of scholars at home and abroad to carry out social network services.Compared with foreign countries,there is still a certain gap.The author also selected a popular social network abroad to investigate the current status of the use of three social networks,Facebook,Twitter,and MySpace by foreign university libraries.This group of surveys was used as a reference group to use microblogs and WeChats with domestic university libraries.Compare with the status quo of watercress.At the same time,it compares and analyzes the use of social networks in domestic university libraries,summarizes and summarizes the issue of using social networks to carry out services in university libraries in China,and proposes corresponding solutions accordingly.It is expected to provide reference for the improvement of the service level of university libraries.This article is divided into seven chapters,the specific content of which is as follows:The first chapter mainly introduces the background of the topic selection,the significance of the topic selection,the research summary at home and abroad as well as the contents,ideas and research methods.Through the analysis of domestic and foreign research,we have found out the focus and weak points of theoretical research,and summarized the analysis of the relationship and development trend between libraries and social networks.The second chapter is the theoretical part of the dissertation,which is also the basic chapter of the dissertation.This part mainly introduces the related concepts and theoretical basis of the discourse terms involved in the dissertation.This chapter mainly introduces the concept of social networking,and also introduces the three theoretical foundations of social networking,laying the foundation for subsequent research.In Chapter 3,this section selects three social networking sites that are popular abroad:Facebook,Twitter,and MySpace,and three social networks in China—Weibo,Wechat,and Douban.The status of the use of these three social networking sites by domestic and foreign university libraries was investigated separately,and the case of a self-built social networking platform was also introduced.Through comparative analysis,it is pointed out that the lack of social network services is used by domestic university libraries,and the enlightenment of foreign university libraries to carry out social network services to our library is pointed out.Chapter IV,this chapter selected three universities in Anhui to use social networking services to conduct a specific analysis of the case.Understand the differences between different schools and different social networks through cases.Chapter 5,through analyzing and summarizing the previous chapters,concludes that there are deficiencies in the development of social networking services in Chinese university libraries.The sixth chapter introduces the measures of how to improve the insufficiency of library in colleges and universities,and provides reference for the development of social network services in university libraries.Chapter VII,this part is the conclusion.Summarize the main content of the paper.Rethinking the deficiencies in the study of the paper,pointed out the development direction of the library and social network research.
