The Case Study On "Public Libraries" Build "City's Study"

With the rapid economic development and the improvement of science and technology,people's spiritual and cultural needs are also increasing.From a social point of view,public libraries advocate building a scholarly society in an all-round way and building a modern public reading service system.From a personal point of view,the public library to help the public to enhance cultural awareness,enrich people's spiritual world.Therefore,the public library undertakes more and more important functions in the social and cultural construction.In recent years,public library services are being gradually promoted to achieve equalization,standardization,informatization and socialization.The library adopts new methods and new methods,and continuously creates comfortable reading space for readers and provides convenient reading methods.An important practical exploration of the public library is to create a 24-hour self-service urban reading space called "City's Study." The city's study meets the needs of the public more convenient and cheap to enjoy the reading space,advocating the comprehensive reading to create a scholarly society is of great significance.This article selects three representative city's study as the research object.The article begins with three aspects of the construction background,the construction achievement and the construction thought of city's study,and introduces them.The article uses the SWOT-PEST matrix as a tool to analyze three cases.Including the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of introducing city's Study from the aspects of politics,economy,society and technology.The article analyzes the problems encountered in the construction of city's study and the countermeasures of city's study,which will provide theoretical guidance for the construction of urban reading space as city's study in the future.This article starts from three aspects to study city's study three cases:Part one is introduction,introduces the concept of "city's study" and the exploration made by the public library in city's study.For example,public libraries make use of their own resources to create city's study,which provides readers with a good reading environment;city's Study has five major functions:"consulting service","communication and exchange","social education","city card" and "recreation and entertainment";Four necessities of creating city's study in public libraries.Part two is introduction,analysis of "City's Study" which is the representative of"City Study" in Wenzhou,"Yue Study" in Hefei and "24-hour City Study "in Yangzhou.The author uses SWOT-PEST matrix analysis method to analyze and summarize the practice exploration of three "city study" to verify the rationality and maneuverability of public library building city's study.Part three is introduction,by analyzing the contents of SWOT-PEST matrix analysis method,we can find out five problems that the public library faces in building "city's study".The article sums up the problems encountered in the process of creating "city's study" in public libraries from five aspects of opening time,space setting,quantity requirement,construction cost and management mode so as to continue to explore city's study.Part four is introduction,city's study in the development process encountered problems to give the solution.From the public library city's study,social forces and other aspects to promote the smooth development of city's study in order to facilitate the future "city's study" mode of exploration.Part five is introduction,conclusion.The increasingly perfect city's study is not only an innovative exploration of public libraries,but also a crystallization of the growing public cultural needs of urban residents.In their spare time,citizens can relax in city study,cultivate sentiment and acquire knowledge resources so that city study can truly become the harbor of the people.
