With the integration of medical image processing technology and robot technology, surgical manipulators and medical devices are developed rapidly, the accuracy and efficiency of operation are improved greatly. With the help of surgical robots, surgeons and patients are making breakthroughs and innovations in face of disease. While the new technology play a role of service for surgeons and patients, this puts forward strict requirements on the surgical robot in the process of the product. The methods that make the robot products convenient, efficient, comfortable to users' habits are the category of usability theory. This paper focus on analysis on industrial design for breast robot, the contents are as follows:(1)The product characters of interventional robot for breast are analyzed at first, then based on usability theory, which including ergonomics, cognitive psychology, product semantics and so on,usability factors and criterion about breast robot are analyzed and concluded.(2)The users of breast robot are studied to acquire users' characters, requirements and goals. The thinking model and behavior pattern are discussed, then user tasks are sorted by priority.(3)Based on ergonomics, user models are built, then two schemes for breast robot are designed.(4)Gray evaluation model are used to evaluated the two schemes, according to results, the better scheme is selected.(5)The material for the chosen scheme is selected by magnetic compatibility analysis, and ANSYS are applied to check the strength.(6)by the above analysis, conclusion, the design guidelines for breast robot are acquired, which can provide guidance for other industrial design of interventional robot.
