The walking assistance rehabilitation robots are essential rehabilitation medical products for the rehabilitation treatment and daily life of lower limb disabled and the elderly.As the user's growing emotional needs,the shortage of walking assistance rehabilitation robot appearance design is also more and more obvious,therefore it needs a scientific and effective way to make the appearance design meet user's requirements.Kansei Engineering is able to apply engineering methods,achieving the transformation between user's kansei needs and products' specific modelling features and design elements.Therefore,applying Kansei Engineering theory to appearance design of walking assistance rehabilitation robot is very important.The main work is as follows.It discusses Kansei Engineering related theory and technology,including the basic contents,Kansei measurement and analysis,introduces the realization method and summarizes its applications general process and simplified model.In addition,it analyses Kansei trend of product design briefly.It introduces the main classification and future development trends of the rehabilitation robots,studies the users and summarizes walking assistance rehabilitation robots' Kansei needs from three viewpoints of the user,demand and product.It puts forward walking assistance rehabilitation robots' Kansei Engineering research methods based on the above methods and techniques research.The steps are design positioning,the collection and selection of Kansei words and sample images,and Kansei measurement and analysis.Then,the correlation between the Kansei needs of walking assistance rehabilitation robots and design elements is established,as well as its principles.At last,it puts forward an idea to establish the correlation model between the Kansei needs of rehabilitation robots and design elements,describing the model's structure and operation process,and elaborating its significance briefly.It completes walking assistance rehabilitation robots' Kansei measurement,and its Kansei analysis from two viewpoints of qualitative and quantitative according to the above methods and processes,presenting the correlation between the Kansei needs of walking assistance rehabilitation robots and design elements.Then,it applies the research results to the design practice,providing a reference and basis for related design in the future.
