A Study On The Publicity And Coping Strategies Of The Negative Reports On China From The Voice Of America

Since 1980 s,western media always focus on negative reports on China,revealing mostly the so-called dark side of China.Their reports on chinese social system?human rights?environment?demoncracy and so on are always false of even distorted.They have made great efforts to stir up the antagonism between the Chinese people and the government.They have seriously distorted China's actual image in the world and brought bad influence.Among all the media in the United States,the Voice of America served for the role of the "vanguard" undoubtedly,apart from the fact that it is an international multimedia broadcasting station,it is also a goernment agency regulated by American Radio Management Committee,it is actually guided by the foreign policy of American State Council.This article studies 421 articles of the Chinese website of Voice of America from October 1,2016 to December 31,2016,analyzes its political leaning through objective data,and also researches on the negative effect and strategies of its negative reports.This article aims to help to improve our national image and resist the infiltration of western ideology through analyzing on the strategies of nagative reports of the Voice of America and proposing strategies to eliminate the negative influence.
