With the increasingly mature technology,ZigBee,the version of which has improved from version V1.0 to the 2007,has been applied widely in recent years.Compared with the other wireless network technology,it has the feature of lower power consumption,lower cost,larger network capacity,easier to implement,more flexible networking and so on.Wireless sensor networks able to perceive,collect,transmit and process information have come into being.because of the development of Internet of Things,which combines sensor technology and wireless network technology.Many environmental parameters require long-term observation or keep unchanged in biological culture experiments,for example,the cell culture process need to maintain a proper concentration of carbon dioxide and a constant temperature and humidity.Most of these experiments are conducted in a confined environment,which makes manual measurement inconvenient.In this paper,the general design of the system is given,with appropriate device and wireless network structure selected,and hardware circuit designed in detail.According to the demand,the terminal node uses reduced function device to save power consumption,and the coordinator uses the full function device.On this basis,the PC monitoring software is designed,selecting temperature,humidity,carbon dioxide concentration and pH value as monitored target,collecting information by sensors,using wireless network as a transmission medium to real-time sending these information from the experimental incubator to monitoring zone to display.Observers can be easier to see the current experimental environment by the monitoring software which can achieve data analysis and real-time display.Meanwhile,observers can adjust the experimental environment in time according to the observed data.Furthermore,historical data query function and alarm function were added.Finally,the system was tested.The environmental monitoring system for biological culture,which is based on the CC2530 and ZigBee technology,can monitor several real-time experimental environmental parameters.The results of network testing and data transmission tests showed that the system can quickly establish a network and transmit data in real time,in other words,the system implemented the functions of wireless sensor networks.The results of real-time monitoring the actual biological culture environment showed that the system meets the basic functional requirements,and it can accurately monitor several environmental parameters and system operations continuous and reliable.The system may have good application value.
