This paper deeply analyzesthe Z-Stack protocol stackbased on the CC2530 chip. Althoughthe Z-Stack isfree,the source code is a semi-open source.The other ZigBee protocol stack based on other chips hashigh licensing fees. According to the specificrequirements of the cold chain monitoring project, this paper designs the communication protocols with symbolre ferring to the ZigBee technology and realizes a selective wireless sensor network system based on CC2530.First of all, the paper analyzes the ZigBee technology, the star networktopology andCC2530 chip,and designs the hardware structure of the terminal nodes and coordinator.Secondly, this paper designs and realizes selective network protocol with symbol. Thenetwork protocol mainly includes four aspects:(1) The design of the communication protocol with symbol.The symbolis used to identify different types of network system in the same area, which can be applied to implement the selective networking process.(2) The coordinator establishes the network.This process in turn is hardware initialization, to choose a communication channel, tosearch the network, to determine the network number, to broadcast network sign frame, to wait for the terminal node to join.(3) The terminal nodes join the network.The processin turn is the hardware initialization, to search the network with symbol, to apply to join the network with symbol.(4) The process ofnetwork work.The coordinator is always monitoring terminalnodes to join or withdraw, collecting data from each node and maintaining communication with the PC; the terminal nodes receive and send data at a fixed interval, or enter a low power sleep model.Finally, the experimental results illustrate that the system is better than Z-Stack protocol stackon joining network delay and power consumptioncomparing with the Z-Stack protocol stack. The Z-Stack protocol stack cannot distinguish different networks in the same region,but the network system with symbol can realize to selectively join in the network. But the frequency of coordinator restarting in the network system with symbol is slightly higher than the one of the Z-Stack protocol stack, which reveals that the stability of the network system with symbolneeds to be improved.In conclusion, the network system with symbol based on CC2530 is simple, easy to deploy, energy saving, high efficiency,and has thevalues of both theory and practical application.
