Design And Implementation Of Network Monitoring And Maintenance Guide System For Police-Service Platform

The police-service platform widely used in Hunan province has been satisfying the needs of police organs at all levels,and realized the goal of information sharing,unified command,quick response and cooperative combat.However,the network systems and the maintenance of the platform become more and more complicated.Independent subsystems of the platform lack unified supervision and network administration.Meanwhile,the technical maintenance ability of lower-level police organs has fallen seriously behind,which is mainly affecting the continuous and stable performance of the platform.In order to solve this problem,we should effectively enhance the technical maintenance ability of lower-level police organs in an all-round way.Based on comprehensively knowing the network structure and operational mode of the police-service platform,the system designer gave enough thought to actual needs of technical training and maintenance of the platform,finally developed a system of network monitoring and maintenance guide.This system efficiently solves problems mentioned from two aspects:First,the system perfectly adapts to current platform and its further development.It can monitor in real time the platform device,application servers and network nodes,realize a real time alarm and promote efficiency of the maintenance.Second,the built-in database of maintenance skills can guide the technical staff to detect and troubleshoot the platform in their routine practices,assisting them to receive an interactive training,therefore improving their technical capacity.Because of its easy operation,strong applicability,and safety practice,the system has been put into use throughout the province.Our results confirm that it has been playing an important role in technical maintenance of the police-service platform and efficiently improving capacity of technical staff,which got satisfaction and straight A feedback from our customer.
