Design And Realization Of Embedded Video Monitoring Systems Based On ARM

The embedded video surveillance system is a new kind of new video surveillance system in recent years,which uses embedded technology,image processing technology and network transmission technology as the core.Compared to old video surveillance system,it has obvious advantages and is embodied in good stability,good interactivity and high cost performance,as well as application prospects and great market demand.In this thesis,the embedded network video surveil1 ance system based onS3C6410 and Linux operating system(OS)is deeply studied and realized.The primary coverage of the thesis as follow.This thesis firstly introduces the development process,characteristics and research and future trends of the video monitoring system of domestic and foreign.The thesis introduces the embedded Linux platform construction and the classical motion target detection algorithm,including the W4 algorithm,the hybrid Gaussian algorithm and the frame difference method.The over all scheme of system design is given then.With regards to the hardware design,introduce embedded video surveillance platform and peripheral circuit,which includes FLASH,SDRAM,RS232,camera and Ethernet interface.etc.With regards to the software design,the thesis design and realize the software system,a module to get the compressed video data,a module to image processing a,a module compression code and web serverin detail.The thesis expounds the working process of the video acquisition module,improving algorithm of moving target detection in image process and realize target tracking and recognition based on geometric features and tracking.Finally,we test and verify the system,and the system's real-time,interactive and image works well,which meets the expected design requirements basically.The thesis analyzes the development direction of video surveillance technology and embedded technology was applied to video surveillance system.We design a convenient and practical,highly efficient and flexible,security and stability of embedded video surveillance system based on ARM processer.
