Design And Research Of Video Surveillance And Wireless Transmission System Based On S3C6410

Most current video surveillance system using a wired network for transmission. It has complicated wiring, limited transmission distance, poor of the economy, inconvenience to install, and poor system scalability characteristics. With the rapid development of science and technology and people's sence of security, video surveillance system at an alarming rate into all aspects of people's lives. It will be in the front-end and system integration, intelligent management and transmission network development trends. The video surveillance system based on the embedded technology is the application premise of the embedded technology. It has the ease of installation, small footprint, flexible networking, open, extensible, and easy to use etc. It will become a new trend in the development of video surveillance technology.The thesis, based on the results of previous studies, designed a wireless video monitoring system on the based of ARM11 and Linux system components. This system chooses S3C6410 as the kernel boards controller, takes USB camera as video capturing equipment, transports video through wireless LAN based on IEEE 802.11 g. The transplant and programming of embedded operating systems, and the tailoring and compiling of the kernel are elaborated. Developmented video image acquisition program based on V4L2 interface has completed. It build a boa server and Mjpg-streamer video streaming server to achieve the wireless transmission based on TCP / IP protocol for video data. The test results show that the system low cost, easy to use and portable operation stability, wireless bandwidth and transmission rate can meet the requirements of real-time monitoring, suitable for home monitoring environment.
