Meteorological information is a significant fundamental and public resource for our country.It is not only the basic unit of meteorological operations,but also an important criterion for meteorological department to conduct analysis and prediction of climate,weather forecast and meteorological research.For those who are engaged in industrial and public meteorological services,meteorological information is the basis of their work as well.With the continuous development of meteorological information,the types and quantity of it are increasing,and it is widely used in all levels of meteorological departments.The application of meteorological information not only increases the accuracy and the refinement level of weather forecast,but also greatly improves the forecasting and early warning ability of severe weather.In the daily work of meteorological departments,operation platforms are dispersed,the formats,forms and service modes of various meteorological information are all different.Therefore,responding to business development requirements,it is urgently needed to develop an integrated management system to realize the functions of data collection,classification and storage,real-time monitoring,disastrous weather forecasting and warning,historical information inquiry and system management,etc.The research and development of the meteorological information management system is based on this background.The meteorological information management system is developed on the basis of B/S structure.The whole design process is developed according to the standard software engineering development pattern,with J2 EE structure,SSH shell frame and JAVA language to realize all the program functions.In this article,I start with the background and significance of system research,pointing out the design and methods to be adopted in the development of this system according to the current research status and development trends of this field both home and abroad.Then,I focus on the theory and technology used in the development and design of this system.After that,in responding to the needs analysis,I present the overall architecture design of meteorological information management system,and briefly introduce the function and realization method of each module in the system.Last but not least,this article conducts a research on system testing,and comes up with the summary and prospect of the system based on the test result.In summary,the design of the meteorological information management system realizes the comprehensive management and application of various meteorological information,providestechnical support for weather forecasting,meteorological services,scientific research and information transmission.Therefore,this system improves the meteorological service ability and plays an important role in enhancing the capacity of meteorological services to prevent and reduce natural disasters.
