In modern society,Internet has been significantly reshaping our business and social activities, making it easier and faster for us to get any information we want. There is no doubt that the Internet has brought us so many benefits, but what should be noticed at the same time is that some ethical issues have been brought about as well in the Internet era.According to a report on China's Internet live broadcast market, issued by iiMedia Research, there are approximately 200 live stream platforms nationwide, with users up to a surprising level of 20 million. However, although mobile live broadcast platforms are in a rapid rise, serious ethical issues such as data-making,obscenity,fraud,privacy-invasion,etc.,occur repeatedly and hard to clean up.Therefore, this thesis aims at discussing the rapid development of mobile live broadcast industry and its existing deeply-ingrained ethical issues. The paper is divided into six chapters: chapter one discusses the research origin, status, purposes, meaning and methods;chapter two talks about the history and current situation of live broadcast in China,as well as users' viewpoints of live broadcast;chapter three concludes the ethical issues existing in those mobile live broadcast platforms;based on the Internet ethics, chapter four probes into the reasons for these ethical issues' existence from 4 different angles: live broadcast platforms, anchors, users and supervision departments.Chapter five proposes some practical and effective suggestions such as auditing live broadcast contents, promoting users' morals, reinforcing industry supervision and self-discipline;chapter six summarizes the full text, putting forward the deficiencies of this paper and pointing a direction for future research.
