The Flowing Deformation Of Revolutionary History Paradigm In The Study Of Chinese Journalism History

Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the study of the history of journalism has developed rapidly and has made great achievements.But there still exits many problems,The obvious one is that the writings of the history of journalism are following the same pattern.And the problem is largely caused by the unified methodology and outlook of the revolutionary history paradig.Many scholars have discussed its drawbacks,however,since the emergence of Revolutionary History Paradigm in 1950 s,there are still some questions worth considering,such as whether there are any changes in the connotation of revolutionary history paradigm,and what about status?This study is based on Kuhn's "paradigm" theory,to probe into the changes of revolutionary history paradigm in the study of Chinese journalism history,representative works was selected as research objects.This research adopts the way of horizontal analysis and vertical comparison.Horizontally,choose different types of journalism history works in the same stage to inquire into the changes of the influence scope of the revolutionary history paradigm;Vertically,the paper choose the content of the same news media in different stages works to summarize the characteristics of the revolutionary history paradigm in different stages.In this study,the content of Shen Bao and Weekly Guide were choosed due to their significance and inconsistency of position in Chinese journalism history.Firstly,this paper makes a review of the works on the history of journalism published in mainland China from 1949 to 2015.On the basis of the previous research findings and the changes of the catalogue,the development of the Revolutionary History Paradigm in the history of journalism is divided into three stages:the establishment stage of revolutionary history paradigm(1949-1977);the mature stage of revolutionary history paradigm(1978-1997);the transformation stage of revolutionary history paradigm(1978-1997).In the second chapter,the study discussesed the emergence of revolutionary and political history before the founding of the People's Republic of China,summed up the historical factors of Revolutionary History Paradigm.Chapter three,four and five respectively correspond to the three stages of thedevelopment of the revolutionary history paradigm,each chapter studies and analyzes the content of representative journalism historical works of each stage,and mainly summarizes the characteristics of revolutionary history paradigm from research angle,research methods,research scope and research purposes.The reasons for the formation and change of the revolutionary history paradigm are also analyzed.Chapter six reviews the main contents and gives a summary of the characteristics and connotation of the revolutionary history paradigm in the study of the Chinese journalism history.The changes andfixednessof the Revolutionary History Paradigm are discussed and its effect is evaluated.In the end,the concluding remarks points out direction for future research.
