An Attempt To Construct A Diverse Conception Of Literary History

Since Shanghai Literary Theory open " Rewriting Literary History " column in1988,from the late1980s to today，it really established a self-positioning and rapidly expandinginfluence. Today, the " rewrite " discussion no longer have the passion and began to rationalreflection, we already has a appropriate historical distance to retrospection the ideologicaltrend of rewriting literary history.Object of study is the journal of literary criticism Shanghai Literary Theory "RewritingLiterary History " column, which from1988to1989.It can be thought the most "avant-garde "banner. Emphasis on the how it produced in the1980s discourse atmosphere, how to startfrom that embraces diversity of literary history towards constructing the monistical literary.This dissertation has four chapters: The first chapter discusses the theoretical starting point forShanghai " Rewriting Literary History", that its main access to resources and state historyparadigm of discourse by Liu Zaifu "The Subjectivity Theory of Literature"and Hsia Historyof Modern Chinese Fiction. The second chapter combs " Rewriting Literary History " columnof Shanghai Literary Theory from open to the end, and recognizes the contribution of thecolumn from two aspects:the "imagination"("Presenter’s words" clearly embodied in theconcept of literary history) and "practice"(column researchers in pursuit of the mentality ofthe writer tried to give a more objective evaluation of their efforts).The third chapterdiscourses the separation of “imaganation” and “practice”, which was attributed to advocatetrying to construct a "historic" the concept of literary history and the specific articlesoperation the conflict.
