Design Of Location Monitoring System For Fire Fighting Vehicle Based On GPS

With the progress of society and urbanization,the number of fire and vehicle accidents happened in the society also showed a rising trend year by year.How to effectively control and dispatch these vehicles,besides,how to improve the efficiency of the police and ensure the safety of motor vehicles,these are a cardinal question in army management.In order to solve these problems,this paper puts forward the combination of GPS GIS and GPRS technology,and combining with computer network technology and database technology to monitor and manage the fire engines,to meet the company vehicle information management requirements.This system is a successful combination of SMS and GPRS communication,which make a significant achievement that the central monitoring and dispatching system can receive the data in both two kinds of styles.Besides,the central section in fire dispatch is how to choose the nearest fire squadron and pathing.This paper brought Dijkstra to solve the problems,which significantly reduced time in police dispatch.As an important part of intelligent transportation system,the research in vehicle monitoring system has important senese to society.GPS,GIS,GPRS three are combined with each other,which achieved vehicle positioning,information transmission,vehicle monitoring and management.
