Nowadays,customers' demands for mechanical products turn to diverse and individual.Meanwhile,for enterprises,the economic globalization competition asks for rapid response and innovative design.In order to meet these requirements,a service platform oriented mechanical product design under the environment of internet plus was put forward.The development process as well as the application modes for different clients of the proposed service platform were mainly studied.The research contents are as follows:Firstly,the different application modes on the mechanical product design were researched between the traditional environment and the environment of internet plus.The distinct business scenes of the service platform were built and the general schema of the platform was also designed.Secondly,in view of the complex design process of mechanical product,the concept of knowledge unit was proposed.Meanwhile,the basic components and the executive process of knowledge unit were studied.Also the template container of it was designed and the modeling and executive process of it was verified by means of the cylinder gear design.Thirdly,in the light of the integration and scalability of the service platform as well as the reusability and share of design knowledge,knowledge unit was encapsulated as a service.Package design templates the knowledge unit used to package as a service were established and all the encapsulated processes was designed.By means of building the cylinder gear design service,the encapsulated process of the knowledge service was verified.In addition,the matching algorithm on the basic of the knowledge service class parameters was researched and the product design process based on knowledge service was built.Finally,the platform was realized under the environment of internet plus,whose architecture,functional model,information model and security mechanism were developed.The platform efficiently integrates the design knowledge,design experience and design data with the design process,which can greatly improve the design efficiency of mechanical products.
