With the rapid development of Internet of Things, intelligent home, telemedicine and other related fields,short-range wireless communications technology has been widely used.Owing to low running power, long standby time and other characteristics,BLE shows superiority among mainstream short-range wireless communications technology. The developing of BLE chip has become a research hotspot at home and abroad. In this paper,an IP core of BLE baseband is designed, focusing on the study of several key modules, and then the integration of the SoC system is completed. The main work includes: i.A core controller module is designed with new control method, which can advertise and forward data at one event.ii.A timing generator module is designed, which can provide five different clock.By using the clock switching, clock gating technology and adding low power clock, the module has a function of controlling the clock switch according to the demands, which can decrease the system power consumption.iii.A frequency selection module is designed, and the data frequency hopping algorithm is improved, which performs a good result that the transmission coverage is increased by more than 15.8dB in the case of packet loss data of 1%.The BLE baseband IP core and the ARM Cortex-M0 processor are integrated with the AHB bus, which can achieve a low-power Bluetooth SoC system.RTL simulation and DC synthesis of the SoC system have been completed. The results show that the total area of the system chip is 2397810.324577?m2,the total power is 2.542 mW when the low power clock is opened, and the total power is 15.048 mW when the low power clock is closed. In addition, two low-power Bluetooth SoC systems can communicate at a data transfer rate of 1Mbit/s at the physical layer.
