With the huge development of the wireless digital communication technology, Short-range wireless data transmission technology has already played an important role of every aspects of social life, by virtue of his advantages like low power consumption, small areas, low cost and simple architecture. And it has been widely used in the fields of consumer electronics, home automation,industry automation and medical application. As the study of this kind of technology started very early abroad, like Texas Instrument, Intel and other companies of chip manufacturers has master the mature Short-range wireless data transmission chip technology, and marketed the corresponding products. In China, research in this field is not as mature as abroad, therefore, research in short-range wireless data transmission IP baseband chip with proprietary intellectual property rights is extremely urgent.BPSK and 2FSK, as some kinds of short-range wireless data transmission technology, still be an important part of wireless communication field by virtue of their advantages as excellent performance of anti-noise and simple theory of modulation and demodulation, although it is very traditional. Based on the scientific research project of research group, design a short-range wireless data transmission IP baseband chip based on BPSK and 2FSK, this dissertation introduce the progress of the wireless digital communication system design, and make the detailed description and analysis of some key technologies.The main works and contributions of the thesis include:1) Make a brief overview of BPSK and 2FSK theory, and discuss some basic theory of wireless digital communication such as filter technology and orthogonal mixing technology.2) Introduce the algorithm of the whole communication chip system, on the basis of the digital frequency conversion system. For BPSK, this paper emphasizes on the symbol timing synchronization and the carrier synchronization, which have great impact on the performance of the system, and for 2FSK, this paper introduces a new method of modulation and demodulation.3) Built the mathematical model of the whole system in Matlab simulation platform, make the fix-point simulation, and test the feasibility of algorithm design through the simulation results. Make the curve of symbol error rate by simulate in the noise environment, to prove that the algorithm meet the requirement in two aspects in function and performance.4) Implement the algorithm in RTL level by using the joint simulation platform of Quartusâ…ˇ and Modelsim, and verify the correctness of the circuit structure through the front-end simulation. Verify the prototype of the whole system on FPGA, lay the foundation of the back-end flow of chip design. Finally, work for the back-end of the chip, completed the logic synthesis and layout design.Revolve around the work above, this article make the comprehensive introduction of the system from algorithm design to circuit structure implementation, illustrate the problems and the corresponding solutions in the design progress from the overall scheme to the module details.
