Design And Implementation Of Patrol And Attendance System For Forest Ranger

The ranger is responsible for patrolling and protecting forests, submitting to the fire and reporting the case. The management of rangers is one of the important contents of national key public welfare forest, local public welfare forest and natural forest resources protection. It is the necessary foundation to realize forestry management modernization and maintain ecological security. However, there are some problems in the traditional patrol work, such as reporting and delivering information is not timely, providing hot spot dose not accurate, personnel scheduling unscientific, there is less way to deal with distress once in danger, or even rangers' job performance is difficult to confirm due to the free nature of their field operations. Then to confirm work efficient, we must make the management work informational, technical and scientific.Based on the full investigation of the process of patrol attendance, data processing and logic business of a forestry department,this paper uses MVC development mode and UML description tool to complete the demand analysis and overall frame design of patrol and attendance system. Using MySQL database, PHP language, using AJAX, ArcGIS and other key technologies, on the basis of Yiil.1 framework, patrol and attendance system is implemented that including the user management, communication management, attendance management,alarm information management, attendance system management and system management. The whole system can use the web system to add the information of the ranger, automatically generate the number and password so as to achieve smooth and efficient exchange between web system and mobile terminal; Rangers can work punch, upload information through the terminal and the administrator can complete the basic staff information management, patrol information management and attendance information management in the process of access to the database information.Patrol and attendance system for ranger researched and implemented in this paper already on the market and put to use of some forestry sector.Compared with the traditional patrol and attendance process,the system improves the management efficiency greatly and meets the needs of the ranger and administrator's work so that administrators can real-time control of the ranger's patrol situation and achieve efficient statistics of the ranger's attendance data.
