In recent years,the media integration under the new media environment is an important topic in the study of journalism and communication,especially in the relatively developed and intensive cities such as Beijing,Shanghai and Guangzhou.A large number of journalists have transitioned to new media in the industry.The transition path of male high-level media people usually became the focus of researches,and the researches of female journalists are lacking.Therefore,this paper will explore the development path of Chinese female journalists in the wave of new media transition based on the perspective of gender research.The survey results show that,on the one hand,the new media bring a broader space for development and career choice to the female journalists,Which help them have more opportunities to go to top management or decision-making positions,get a higher salary and professional satisfaction,to achieve the self value and economic value of the upgrade;On the other hand,female journalists in the transformation is also facing a great challenge,the new media environment on the stereotypes of gender still exist,the glass ceiling effect is obvious,entrepreneur ability to be questioned,encounter workplace "hidden rules" and other issues Occurrence,work intensity increases,interfere with family life,etc.are also prevalent.The traditional family concept and the burden of childbearing are still the restrictive factors for the improvement of career development and social status of female journalists.In the transformation of the path of choice,want to seek a better career prospects,female journalists should carefully choose the appropriate personal ability and their own interest in the transformation path to improve the individual's pursuit of professional goals firm.They should keep learning enthusiasm to meet the needs of the industry complex talents.In addition,it is also important to strengthen the system safeguard rights and improve the supervision and supervision of industry associations.
