Research On The Successful Female Hosts Of Chinese TV Talk Shows

TV talk shows were originated from USA. Experts in TV areas regarded the programme as the starter of TV talk shows. In Chinese TV history, the first TV talk show programme was called by Shanghai Oriental TV station in 1993. Also the programme called of CCTV, which arouse nationally attention in chinese TV history. The booming of TV talk show programmed provides the female hosts a platform to show their talents. The female hosts have got fierce competition with their fellow male hosts in their career as well, which add colourful lights on TVs.From my research that my thesis opened a virgin area for female hosts in TV talk shows by clarifying the history and analyzing all the aspects of the female hosts, and then to make a deeper conclusion and thinking for the development of female hosts. I especially analyze some most famous successful female hosts to provide a multiply aspects of TV talk shows.In the introduction I listed my intentions and background and ways of analyzing method in it.The first chapter I conclude the history of TV talk shows, and emphasize the position of female TV hosts. And next I analyze the social background of female hosts which explain how charmful they are in the TV programme.The chapter Two to Five I selected 4 successful TV talk show female hosts as cases, individually and overally analyze their styles and brand programmes as well as their career experience, which is the main part of my thesis. Base on the analyze above, I conclude all the respects of their success factor in the career of the female hosts overally,also targeting to have a deep thinking of their problem they are facing at the end.
