Many of the current pump products and systems are of inefficiency and high energy consumption,one third of domestic electricity has been consumed by them.It is an inevi Tab.le trend that energy saving pump products are in demand under the influence of the policy of energy saving and emission reduction in the government "13th Five-Year" plan.Although designing more efficient pumps with new design theory and new design method is also a kind of solution,as pumps' widely application,monitoring pumps' hydraulic performance and analyzing its' energy consumption is the urge matter which the old pump systems need to be upgraded and replaced in the recent years.As the development of computer and automation technology,it is important for pumps energy saving to develop an universal and more economical system.The problem and situation of current pumps energy consumption system were analyzed first,basic theory of pumps' performance and energy consumption analysis was also introduced,then the monitoring parameters and instruments were identified.To avoid the problem of online measurement of rotation speed,a new measurement plan was designed,but also hardware.A new rotation speed measurement system was developed with the plan and hardware.To avoid the problem of online measurement of motor efficiency,combining a smart electricity meter which can measure input power and current,the motor efficiency was quickly measured.As the online measurement problem of rotation speed and motor efficiency were solved,all instrument and sensors were connected with wireless transmitter by RS232/485 interface.As a result,the whole instruments were wireless and a wireless sensor network was formed by them.A software was developed to analyze pumps' energy consumption with Labwindows/CVI based on the system hardware.The main work and achievement are outlined as follows:1.The problem of current energy consumption system was analyzed,the system design and development were conducted as trend of visualization and digitization of virtual instrument.The main monitoring parameter was identified after analyzing basic theory of pumps.The basic parameters of motor were measured by the smart electricity meter.2.A scheme that the motor speed was measured with sensorless technology was proposed.Hardware and MCU module were designed.With motor speed calculation formula,the speed can be computed with power frequency f1 and slip frequency f2 which were computed by the MCU module.The experimental results show that the speed error is less than 0.5% compared with a torque meter,which means that the and the scheme is of high precision.3.To solve the problem of online test of motor efficiency,using motor input and output energy expression and motor load ratio calculation formula,motor efficiency was conducted by them.Compared with motor standard test data,the difference of standard test data and computing data was less than 2%.A motor test was conducted,the maximal error was 1.06%,which indicates that the method was of high precision.4.After the measurement parameter and instruments were identified,combining with Zig Bee wireless transmitter module,the test instruments were changed into wireless equipment.According to the Zig Bee wireless network,the network can automatically form and the route can be also calculated,which can help users quickly build the wireless sensor network.5.Considering the wireless sensor network,energy consumption analysis system was developed using Labwindows/CVI.The system can monitor pump's performance and analyze energy consumption.Combined with da Tab.ase technology,da Tab.ase management of test data can be realized.
