Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs)are application-oriented and multi-crossing disciplinary networks,which will inevitably have a profound impact on human's life in the future.However,the energy consumption in WSN has always been in the research focus.In WSN,the energy is mostly consumed in communication between nodes,thus,the energy consumption is related to the distance between nodes and the amount of transmitted data.There are many related studies on WSN energy consumption in regard of these two directions,but the most profound impact on our thesis have researches on WSN clustering routing protocol based on the LEACH protocol and the representative data fusion algorithms.These protocols and algorithms provide an important solution to study the WSN energy consumption.The main contributions of this thesis are as follows.Firstly,the LEACH-B protocol that combines LEACH protocol and BIRCH algorithm is proposed to reduce the defects caused by random selection of cluster head-nodes' transmission mode and isolated node mechanism.Namely,LEACH-B protocol uses the cluster radius and the number of nodes in the cluster to constrain the size of WSN clusters.At the same time,the maximum residual energy node is selected as a cluster head in order to ensure network stability.In addition,the isolated nodes are clustered separately,and the collected information needs to be uploaded separately to ensure the integrity of the information collected by network.The multi-hop cooperative communication between nodes reduces energy consumption of transmission.Ultimately,the overall network energy consumption is reduced,which effectively extends the network life cycle.Secondly,this thesis introduces the PCCDNCD data fusion algorithm intended for the cases when selected representation data fusion is not strong.In PCCDNCD algorithm,the correlation of nodes is measured using Pearson correlation coefficient,physical location between nodes,and number of neighbor nodes.According to the relevance,nodes are divided into sink nodes,ordinary nodes and isolated nodes.The experimental results have shown that fusion data of PCCDNCD algorithm are more accurate than fusion data of DDCD and PCC algorithms,and the residual energy of the network is much better than residual energy of DDCD and PCC.Accordingly,PCCDNCD algorithm can effectively extend the network life cycle.Finally,the design and implementation of WSN energy optimization system named EOS are presented.In this thesis,LEACH-B and PCCDNCD algorithms are combined and applied to theforest fire-warning system.The program code is programmed into 100 nodes,and the nodes are deployed within the area of 100 x 100 m.The temperature data and the residual energy state of the nodes are collected by the base station monitoring node.The general situation and EOS system were compared,and the experimental results have shown that EOS system proposed in this thesis can effectively promote network balance and reduce network energy consumption.
