The Planning And Design Of Telecom Optical Access Network System In Residential District

With the rapid development of the modern social economy and telecommunication technology,the internet has become the very essential part of the human lives.The customers do not only need integrative services,such as voice,data,image and multimedia,but also home network and public network with the higher transmission speed and the lower prize.However,the technology of access network at present can not meet the customers' need,which means we need improve the technology of access network of the next generation.As a broadband access technology which is associated mostly to the individual experience,the fiber-optical access technology is absolutely a very important part during building the high speed broadband network and improving the informatization development.At the mean time,it plays an essential role in improving the social economy and the informatiztion services.The papers mainly introduce and analyze Ethernet Passive Optical Network and Gigabit Passive Optical Network which are the main technology at present,based on the basic theory of the optical access technology,using the project in a community by Xining branch of China Telecom.The essay also demonstrates the design and the plans of Ethernet Passive Optical Network access in the community.The plans demonstrates designing the network structure,choosing the equipments and its quantity,calculating the network capacity and the optical middle continued distance,calculating the luminous power,designing the network synchronization and network protection,and planning the IP address.EPON technology,which is suitable for small-scale optical access,is used in the plans of the project in the community.And its features of the high bandwidth,the low cost,the expandability,and the maturity are also demonstrated after the project.Using the EPON technology can support building FTTH in the community and meet the needs of the voice and data access,which leads to the favorable social and economic affects by the low cost.The usage of optical access technology has become a trend.With reducing the cost of the optical fiber and the equipments and needing the high bandwidth in the network application,the EPON technology will be widely used in the design plans in the future.
