The most important feature of a modern automatic production equipment is that it has a combination of a variety of techniques as well as the execution unit modular and can be composed of different uses of the system. Here, mechanical technology, micro-electronics technology, electrical and electronic technology, sensor testing technology, interface technology, information conversion technology, network communication technology and other technology organically integrated and comprehensive application to the production equipment; module combined the structure of each unit of work is relatively independent modules, and uses a standard structure and drawer modules placed on the shelf, and interchangeability. According to the different tasks to different combinations, installation and commissioning.In this paper, the Siemens S7-200 series PLC as the core, Yalong YL-335 A automatic production equipment based on RS-485 serial communication protocol, to enable them to complete a control process through the feed, processing, assembling, sorting and conveyance. Each unit of the whole system can be an independent system, and respectively analysis, design, and with hardware and software so that this system can be more completely. In the communication aspects of the system using the S7-200 series PLC comes PPI communication protocol via RS-485 serial communication. Meanwhile, this paper focuses on how to design the feed unit, processing unit, assembly unit, sorting unit and transport unit structure, electrical assembly and constitute and PLC control principle, how STEP7 software to design asoftware modules of the system, as well as how to use the RS-485 serial communication to achieve the unit interconnection to work together to build an automatic production line control system.In this paper, how to use the touch screen and how to use configuration software design an interactive interface without too much research.
