The control function and protect function of monitoring system in combination switch arerealized by microcomputer., PLC is selected as the control core of the monitoring system. Thesystem has the protection functions of short circuit, over-load, over-voltage, phase open, earthleakage. According to the intrinsic safety characteristics requirements conducts experimentaldemonstration, then design the practical intrinsically safe pilot circuit. In the part of leakage andphrase-failure protection system, a novel protection scheme consisted of lockout and protectionprotect the insulation of motors. The result of the power lines and equipments are protectedaccurately. In order to accurately determine the action of the overload time.The fourier seriesprotection is used in the protection system.In connection with resonance overvoltageharmfulness.This paper chooses RC absorbing circuit.The software and man-machine interfaceare designed,Man-machine interface of the combination starter uses touch screen MT8000seriesof Taiwan WeiGuan technology Company.Finally the various functions of system debugging arecompleted.The monitoring system in3300V mining combination Switch has been tested, detected onthe system parameters and protective properties. The test results show that the monitoring systemof the combination switch has a good security, reliability, start and stop function of remotecontrol is accurate and without any malfunction; Friendly interface.The efficiency of coalproduction is improved.
