Gearbox is the foundation equipment of the national manufacturing industry,which is related to the efficiency and reliability of the transmission power,The performance of the play depend on the rationality of the gearbox structure and the advancement of design technology.Therefore,the developed industrial countries attach great importance to its design and manufacture.And the technical level become increasingly higher.Parametric technology and the application of modularization technology has a lot of help to improve the gearbox design efficiency and product quality.Which is moving toward low cost high performance low noise easy production and the direction of light.To combine the actual needs of cylindrical gearbox,using the feature modeling and parametric technology,achieved the parametric modeling of,conducted the secondary development of Pro/E and designed the human-computer interaction interface of parametric modeling of cylindrical gearbox.Based on MATLAB genetic algorithm toolbox,conducted the optimization design of gearbox transmission structure,under the premise of the gearbox in strength,transmission power and transmission ratio,realize the light weight.The main research content of this paper includes:(1)Studied and summarized the characteristics of three-dimensional models and parametric modeling design,according to the requirements of gearbox design,analyzed its structure and component parts,using Pro/E software to build the parametric models of gearbox parts,chose and set the interface parameters.(2)Analyzed and compared various of development tools of Pro/E software,and chose to use Pro/Toolkit secondary development tool for the development of Pro/E,in conjunction with the second development-related interactive technology to build the parametric models and the check interface of key components of strength.(3)Based on analyzing the gear transmission structure,using MATLAB optimization design method based on genetic algorithms,selected five main parameters of helical gear design as design variables.Based on the total center distance,overall quality and transmission stability,established the multi-objective function which adopted weighted coefficient unified,to drive the structure parameter optimization design of helical gearbox,considering the condition of gear designed to ensure the requirements of lubrication,strength and durability.After completing the optimization design,obtained the parameters sequence of gearbox which have been optimized,and the optimization results showed that center distance reduced about 25.8%,and the volume reduced by 18.1%,and achieved the lightweight of gearbox.
