As a packing material, glass has many advantages that cannot be substituted, such as having plenty of raw material, being produced easily, low price, stable chemical quality, not reacting with its content and so on. So it is widely used in the packing of food, beverage and chemical things. Now both design of glassware and design of glassware's module have been done by manualworking. It prolongs the design period, augments the cost and makes it difficult to ensure the precision; therefore it weakens the glass competition strength as a packing material.This paper researches the revolving glassware which was used widely, introduces a glassware 3D parametric CAD system programmed with Visual C++ 6.0 and Pro/TOOLKIT which is an application programmers interface of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. This system design form user's view, use dialog manner, achieve intetactive and parametric design. This system make the process between designed glassware and parameters have relativity. While changing the parameters,the change will show in glassware. It make system more intellectualized ,and make user design more easily. As far as changing shape design was the major in glassware design market now, this system provide great convenience.
