As the tools of radiating and receiving electromagnetic wave,antennas are one of key components for wireless communication systems.Besides,antennas of high directivity can improve the signal to noise ratio,decrease power loss,reduce interference between systems and increase communication distance,so these kinds of antennas are widely used in radar,satellite communications,microwave relay,satellite TV receiver.The most often used high directivity antennas are microstrip array antenna,horn antenna,reflect array antenna,dipole array antenna and waveguide slot array antenna.However,these antennas need complex feed network,which restricts the design and process of these antennas.What's more,complex feed network will loss power and reduce antenna efficiency.Therefore,in this thesis,high directivity,high aperture efficiency array antenna has been researched.A new feeding structure of dielectric resonator antenna array,which has low cross coupling dielectric resonator antennas as the array element,and the redial line waveguide as the feeding structure,has been proposed.The main research contents are below:(I)Dielectric resonator antenna array using the feeding structure of radial line waveguide has been researched.(2)A linearly polarized radial line dielectric resonator antenna array has been proposed.This antenna array reaches high cross polarization level,directivity of 27.18dB at 12 GHz and aperture efficiency of 66.4%.(3)A circular polarized radial line dielectric resonator antenna array has been proposed.This antenna array obtains good circular polarization,directivity of 26dB at 12GHz and aperture efficiency of 44%.
