Due to the development of satellite mobile communications,mobile Internet and Internet of things technology,more and more requirements are put forward for the miniaturization,broadband,multiband and other aspects of the antenna performance.The dielectric resonator antenna and microstrip antenna have the advantages of low profile,small size,simple feeding structure and easy processing.The design and research of broadband,high gain dielectric resonator antenna and patch array antenna are presented in this paper.The paper mainly includes the following 3 aspects:1.The microstrip slot coupling feed mode is used in the antenna.The energy is then coupled to the dielectric resonator through the slot.In order to prevent the scattering of electromagnetic wave,the parasitic patch is attached on the back of the dielectric resonator,and the reflector plate is added on the upper part,which can greatly improve the performance of the antenna.The antenna is resonant at 5.25 GHz and 6.3GHz respectively,and operates at 4.6-6.8GHz,where 5.1-5.9GHz is WLAN band,and its impedance bandwidth reaches 39%,so it has very good practical value.2.The resonance frequencies of the proposed dual band dielectric resonator antenna are 2.16 GHz and 2.61 GHz and the operating bandwidths are 2.11-2.20 GHz and 2.555-2.655 GHz,which can be used in wireless communication handheld devices.The DRA is designed by electromagnetic simulation software and the size is 34mm?33mm?22.6mm,which is fed by the microstrip line.In order to improve the performance of the antenna,the upper reflector is added.The simulated results show that the antenna can cover CDMA2000,WCDMA and TD-LTE mobile communication mode,the bandwidths are 90 MHz and 100 MHz respectively,and the maximum gain is 8.03 dBi.Because it has advantages of compact size,simple feed and portability,which has good practical value.3.A 5×5 array antenna with the coplanar parasitic patch structure which consists of 25 patches and 24 resonance branches.Two center patches,which are fed by two high frequency SMA probes,serves as the driving elements,while the surrounding 23 patches are the parasitic elements.The resonance branches of the array antenna are used as a feed network to transmit the coupling energy.As a result,25 patches on the substrate can be stimulated simultaneously.The array antenna has a simple feed structure and compact size.Compared with a standalone antenna,the 5x5 coplanar parasitic patch array antenna has the advantages of wide bandwidth and high gain.Experimental results show that the proposed antenna operating band is 17.2-21.3 GHz;the impedance bandwidth is 20.5%;and the peak gain is 14.2 dBi.
