With the continuous development of network technology,the size of the network is becoming more and more complex.The network administrator has deep desire for automatic management and configuration of network.Research on technology of topology management has important significance to the development of automatic network management and automatic configuration of network equipment.This paper,for the features of low coupling,good user experience and smooth work flow,designs a system of network topology management based on three-tier architecture,and studies the mode of communication in the system and the process of topology editing in-depth.This paper introduces the technical background of the system of network topology management,including the characteristics of HTML5,the advantages and disadvantages of Ajax and WebSocket,and the usage of Web Workers.The focus is on TWaver HTML5,including the advantages,the development method and the compatibility of the browser.The functional requirements and non-functional requirements of the system are presented in this paper according to the purpose and the basic function description of the system of network topology management.According to the demand analysis,this paper designs the architecture of the system,and divides the system into functional modules based on the principle of "high cohesion,low coupling",then proposes a particular design of the system's each module in turn.At the same time,it researches and designs the topological elements,topological file format,the communication mode in the system,and the database structure of the system.According to the analysis and design of the early stage,the system of network topology management is implemented.Through the experimental test,this paper analyzes and compares the network delay of the single communication mode using WebSocket or Ajax at different message transmission frequency.The analysis results show that the combination of WebSocket and Ajax,which greatly reduces the network delay,can improve the response speed of the system,and make the system run more smoothly.The research on the system of network topology management is the technology exploration in the direction of network automation,which is under the background of SDN.The Web application based on the combination of synchronous and asynchronous communication mode has a certain significance to the research of the application about intelligent and automated network management in the future.
