Research And Implementation Of Network Topology Discovery And Management

With the increasing demand of network, a believable, reliable, safe and steady networkmanagement platform is required. How to discovery the topology structure of network and setup effective topology model that is very important to network management. This thesisanalyzed the advantages and disadvantages of traditional network management architecture.Combining the new technology of current network management, a framework of integratedmanagement system of campus network was given. The topology discovery and managementsystem was designed. Detailed discussion was carried through about the algorithms of logicaltopology discovery and physical topology discovery. And then, the topology discovery andmanagement system was achieved. Finally, primary discussion was in progress about thetopology discovery in IPv4/IPv6 mixed network.
